Dannii Minogue is set to sign a new 'The X Factor' contract.
The singer has flown back to Britain to sign a new £1 million deal - upped from £750,000 to match her fellow judge, Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole - following months of speculation about her future on the show.
A source said: "Dannii is looking forward to filming the show - she's determined to have a lot of fun.
The source added to Britain's Daily Star newspaper: Dannii couldn't wait to go back to Australia but she was finally persuaded that the show wanted her
"It was never about the money. Dannii felt very unhappy with the way things went last year. She felt she'd been hung out to dry.
"She hated all the nonsense about her so-called feud with Cheryl and hated being portrayed as a miserable party pooper.
The source added to Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Dannii couldn't wait to go back to Australia but she was finally persuaded that the show wanted her."
The 37-year-old star will join fellow judges Cheryl, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh filming the programme from next week.
It had previously been claimed show chief Simon wanted to replace Dannii with a different star, with 'The Fear' singer Lily Allen and singer-turned-presenter Charlotte Church both said to be in the running.
