Danyl Johnson Ends Dad Feud

Danyl Johnson has ended a bitter feud with his father.

The 'X-Factor' contestant - who fell out with his dad, Owen McCubbin, two years ago - has mended the rift which forced them apart.

Danyl, 27, has forgiven his father for refusing to sell the family home following the collapse of his marriage to his mother Maria Burgess.

Owen, 51, told Closer magazine: "We're getting on a lot better now, the rift is healing. I'm so pleased I've got my son back in my life and I'm sure he'll go all the way on the 'X-Factor.' It's such a relief we're back in each others lives."

But Danyl hasn't been getting on so well with his fellow contestants, and has been accused of being a bully.

Danyl - who narrowly survived the bottom two against girl group Miss Frank on this Sunday's (25.10.09) live show - reportedly upset Essex girl, Stacey Solomon.

The 20-year-old single mum has reportedly been left "in bits" over newspaper reports apparently criticising her for being away from her son, Zach, 18 months - and Danyl won't let it drop.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Danyl has just ignored her wishes and he can't help blabbing when he sees an article about her in the paper. It upsets her and can put her off her performance."

'X-Factor' judge Louis Walsh has previously criticised Danyl for being "vile" and a bully after comments he reportedly made about his act Kandy Rain, who were voted off the show in the first week.
