David Schwimmer is to appear on 'Who Do You Think You Are?'.
The former 'Friends' star - who is Jewish and has Eastern European ancestors - has agreed to delve into his family roots for the new series of the hit BBC show.
The last series had a great line-up with some very shocking stories and secrets unveiled
The last series famously saw chat show host Jerry Springer break down after hearing how his Jewish family fled Nazi Germany.
A source said: "It's a tribute to the show that A-list stars are lining up to appear on 'Who Do You Think You Are?'.
"The last series had a great line-up with some very shocking stories and secrets unveiled. We have to do our best to make the next just as good."
David, 42, had previously met with BBC executives in his role as producer of 'Little Britain USA'.
The American version of 'Who Do You Think You Are?' is executive produced by David's former 'Friends' co-star Lisa Kudrow.
