Davina McCall picked up two awards at the Digital Spy Reality TV Awards last night (06.04.09).

The 'Big Brother' presenter was awarded Best Host and Digital Spy Legend at the ceremony, while Jade Goody was posthumously honoured as the Ultimate Reality TV Star.

Upon being given Best Host by awards presenter Claudia Winkleman, Davina said: "I can't believe that I have actually won - after 16 years in the business - a best host award.

"This is amazing. And Ant and Dec were in the same category!

"And I'm very grateful the public has stuck with me through all the turkeys and my addiction and everything in my life."

When she later accepted the Digital Spy Legend award she added: "I've made a living acting like a total t**t and it's been joyous."

The awards were voted for by the public and attended by a host of presenters and contestants from shows including 'Big Brother', 'The Apprentice', 'Britain's Got Talent' and 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here'.

Winners included Cheryl Cole, who took home Best Judge for her appearance on 'The X Factor', while Best Moment was named as Alexandra Burke singing with Beyoncé Knowles on the same show.

Big Brother series nine contestant Dale Howard picked up Sexiest Male, while Strictly Come Dancing's Rachel Stevens was awarded sexiest female.

Former 'EastEnders' actor Joe Swash picked up two awards for his stint on 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here' - Best Winner and Favourite Celebrity Contestant.

He said: "It's really great to pick up anything here because it's the actual people who watch the shows who are awarding you, and to get something like Favourite Contestant is absolutely brilliant.

"I brought my mum along, because my other lovely lady is working. She loves it."
