Sammy Winward hated wearing her 'Emmerdale' character's fake baby bump because it made her too hot.

The 22-year-old actress, who plays Katie Sugden in the soap, spent much of the year wearing the bump and has revealed it was physically "draining".

When asked what the worst part of her job was, Sammy replied: "Wearing that s***ing baby bump! It's been so hot, and it was quite draining carrying it around. I didn't steal it for my own wardrobe!"

Sammy is not the only member of the cast with something to grumble about, her co-star Roxanne Pallett - who plays Jo Stiles in the soap - revealed she hates filming in the miserable British weather.

Earlier this year, Sammy revealed she accidentally sparked rumours she was pregnant again after she wore the bump out shopping.

She said: "I did recently nip out to the shops still wearing my pregnancy padding because Katie is expecting a baby in 'Emmerdale'. I'm waiting to see 'Sammy - pregnant' headlines in the newspapers soon!"
