Denise Welch has confessed hunky Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias has been her favourite ever 'Loose Women' guest.

The former 'Coronation Street' star joked that she secretly got engaged to the hunky Spanish singer after he appeared on the daytime TV show, which she co-costs.

When asked who her favourite guest was, she said: "Enrique Iglesias - we're engaged, actually. My fiance would be upset if I said anyone else. Our wedding plans are going very well, but Enrique gets very shy so I can't talk about it."

Denise then went on to joke about Enrique's real-life fiancee, saying: "That blonde always hanging around him, Anna Kournikova, is just a cover so we can keep our love a secret."

Some may be surprised Denise didn't choose Russell Brand as her top guest after she flaunted her figure at him in a West Ham Football Club corset live on the show.

But she explained that it is actually her 'Loose Women' co-host Carol McGiffin who is enamoured with the star.

Denise said: "No, he was never the one for me. I think he's hilarious, but Carol McGiffin is the one in love with him. When Russell came on the show, he'd been sat down for all of two minutes before he complained that we had done nothing 'loose'.

"That was like a red rag to a bull for me - so I flashed my boobs at him!"
