Fern Britton's will interview Peter Andre in her penultimate episode of 'This Morning'.

The 51-year-old presenter is set to talk to the 36-year-old singer just days after his estranged wife Katie Price appears on 'Piers Morgan's Life Stories' to discuss their split.

Peter will use the show to promote his new album, but has reportedly told Fern and co-host Phillip Schofield he wants to talk about his impending divorce and the battle for custody and access rights to the children they raise, Junior, four, Princess Tiaamii, two and seven-year-old Harvey.

I want my successor to have a great time - the moment's right for someone else to have a go. The next thing will be a comparison between me and the goddess who replaces me on 'This Morning'. But that's fine.

An insider told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Peter has told the show to expect an honest chat about his personal and professional life and that means he'll have to comment on Katie and what she has been claiming.

"The gloves are coming off between them - which will let Fern go out with a bang."

Fern - who reportedly quit the morning chat show when she discovered Phillip was earning three times as much as her - will film her final episode on July 17.

She has wished her successor - believed to be 'Dancing On Ice' star Holly Willoughby - the best of luck.

Fern said: "I want my successor to have a great time - the moment's right for someone else to have a go. The next thing will be a comparison between me and the goddess who replaces me on 'This Morning'. But that's fine."
