'Hollyoaks' actress Gemma Bissix fancies Jeremy Clarkson.

The soap star said the 49-year-old 'Top Gear' host her is her ideal man, as she shares his passion for cars.

She explained: "I'm a bit of a tomboy, so I always say Jeremy Clarkson is my ideal guy.

"I'd just want to get into a car with him and say, 'Let's go on a long drive.' There'd be no back seat stuff, though - I'm just interested in the cars!"

The former 'EastEnders' star, 26, also thinks she's unlucky in love because men are scared off by her feisty on-screen persona.

She told Britain's New magazine: "I think I scare off the nice ones, because they think I'm like I am on screen. All I get are the cocky, confident ones who I know are just going to cheat on me anyway.

"I'm quite a strong girl and being on TV probably makes me a more daunting prospect. I do want a nice guy, but I want one who is my equal mentally."

The 26-year-old, who currently plays Clare Devine in 'Hollyoaks' does, however, have very specific requirements for prospective partners.

She said: "Looks don't really matter to me. I like a face with character rather than someone who is picture perfect.

"I'd like someone outgoing and confident, but not someone with a big head.

"As a woman, I do need looking after, but I also like my independence - so I need to find someone who can provide both."
