Glenn Ward became the latest candidate to be fired from 'The Apprentice' last night (15.06.11).
The 28-year-old design engineer - who failed to impress in a task which saw the teams create their own magazines and then sell advertising space - was given the boot by Lord Alan Sugar after the technology mogul admitted he couldn't envisage himself starting a new business alongside an engineer.
While he didn't land a lucrative partnership with the multi-millionaire entrepreneur, Glenn was thrilled to have taken part in the BBC One show after finding romance with fellow contestant Zoe Beresford.
Glenn exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Zoe and I get on really well. It's going really well between the two of us."
However, the Hertfordshire-based businessman hit back at claims made by former contestant Edna Agbarha, who criticised the pair for letting their relationship cloud their judgement in tasks.
He said: "I completely disagree with that. Every single task we kept totally professional and none of our personal feelings were ever involved in the decisions we made."
Glenn is now backing Zoe to win the whole competition.
He added: "I think Zoe has done fantastically in what she's done so far on the show. She's a very strong character with very strong opinions and I think she could go on to win it."
