Chat show host Gok Wan?

Gok Wan is hoping to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Oprah Winfrey and host his own chat show in the future.

Gok Wan is eyeing his own chat show.

The 37-year-old TV presenter - who was bullied as a child - explained in the future he is hoping to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Oprah Winfrey and draw on his own experiences to help others with a "fabulous" new talk show.

He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I would absolutely love to host my own chat show at some point over the coming years.

"Working on shows like 'How to Look Good Naked' have allowed me to help women to improve themselves and making people feel more confident is something I feel passionate about.

"I went through a lot as a teen and I think I could really help people going through similar problems in their lives. It would be fabulous!"

Gok - who is the ambassador for Vodafone's World of Difference programme - also advised women struggling with body image to "embrace" their figures.

He added: "I meet so many women who have a problem with the way they look for no good reason. Embrace what you have, ladies! If you're confident on the inside, it shows on the outside."
