Graham Norton is being tipped as the new host of 'The Eurovision Song Contest'.
The Irish TV presenter is hot favourite to replace Terry Wogan - who has been commentating for the BBC on the singing show since the 70s - after Terry hinted he is keen to quit.
Bosses at the UK TV network believe Graham, who is known for his quirky and outrageous sense of humour, would be the perfect host for 'Eurovision - Your Decision' - where singers compete to be chosen to represent the United Kingdom in the singing contest - and possible the contest itself.
An insider said: "The BBC need an alternative and Graham is their man. He is currently talking to bosses about 'Eurovision - Your Decision' show, which will run some time in March next year. Executives have big plans for the show and want to make it more glitzy, with one eye on 'The X Factor'.
Terry may decide he still wants to do the commentary for the actual contest but if he doesn't, Graham will do that as well.

Terry recently revealed he was unsure about taking the presenting role again because of the contest's tactical voting leading to the United Kingdom also scoring so badly.
He told the Radio Times magazine: "I was considering giving up before the contest in Belgrade this year and I'm very doubtful about ever wanting to do Eurovision again. I think it's time someone else took over."
The X Factor might be the bane of some folks’ lives thanks to a certain pair of twins who keep appearing on the show week after week, but as we’re trying to determine who we’d most like to go on a hot date with this morning, we thought we’d open the floodgates to your views.
