The comedian - who regularly pulls in more than seven million viewers with his award-winning 'TV Burp' show - will stay at the network to produce two further series of the irreverent comedy show, which looks at the week's TV highlights.

Speaking of his decision to remain at ITV, Harry said: "For a light entertainer there's only one place to be on a Saturday night, that's ITV."

Harry had recently been approached by Sky executives who were keen to secure him for their channel and reportedly offered him £400,000 to bring 'TV Burp' with him.

For a light entertainer there's only one place to be on a Saturday night, that's ITV.

However, he has decided to remain faithful to ITV after they increased his budget from £200,000 per episode to £350,000.

Under Harry's new contract, he will also continue to provide voiceovers for 'You've Been Framed' and work on developing new shows.

While Harry has seen his salary increased, other stars such as presenting duo Ant and Dec had to take a pay cut when they signed new deals at the end of last year.
