James Corden has a crush on David Beckham.

The 'Gavin and Stacey' star recently filmed a sketch for charity Sport Relief with the soccer ace and admits he has "fallen in love" with the sportsman.

He told Now magazine: "It would be wrong to say we're best friends, but I felt privileged to spend a couple of days filming with him. I've sort of fallen in love with him a bit.

He's just the nicest, most unassuming, pleasant and respectful man I've ever met.

"He's just the nicest, most unassuming, pleasant and respectful man I've ever met."

James isn't the only comic to confess to a crush on David.

'Good News' star Russell Howard admits he was relieved not to have been asked to play James' role in the charity sketch.

He said: "James and David did a Sport Relief skit where they massaged each other, but I'd much rather massage James.

"Becks is so attractive it would weird me out to touch him. Plus, his voice is so high-pitched, with all the squeaking, he'd make it sound like massaging a satellite navigation system."
