Jamie Oliver is "praying" his new American TV show will be a success.
The celebrity chef - who is about to launch 'Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution' on ABC with Ryan Seacrest - is desperate his new programme will succeed in raising awareness of child obesity and encouraging youngsters to eat healthily.
He said: "It's very nerve-racking. I'm hoping and praying I do my job properly, using the skills I've learned over the past five years working with hundreds and thousands of kids, organisations and governments. Hopefully I'm going to be up to the job."
Although he's looking forward to the challenge of changing people's perception about unhealthy foods, the 34-year-old star doesn't want to find fame while working overseas.
Discussing whether he wants to be well-known in America or not, he said: "God, no. I genuinely, on
my life, don't give a t**s. I know no one will believe me and I don't care. I've got 1,000 employees, three kids and a wife. I don't need fame.
"Funnily enough, while I love working in America, and I owe them a lot, I decided to stop devoting time to working out there because I was much better off working in Germany, Holland and parts of Europe. They're more into the kind of cooking I do. So I wasn't going to work there anymore and what happens? I go and get the biggest job of my life. But it's a great country and if it works well, I'll be really chuffed. I genuinely want to be a part of something good and create a seed of change."
Jamie's wife Jools - who he has daughters Poppy, seven, Daisy, six, and 11-month-old Petal with - is currently pregnant with their fourth child.
Although he works hard for his family, Jamie's spouse is confused by his profession.
He added to new! magazine: "Jools is a home-loving gal and she doesn't understand why I do half the stuff I do. She's married to someone who's really committed to what he does: cooking and education, and being a professional s**t-stirrer - I'm good at that!"
