Jodie Kidd became the latest celebrity to be voted off TV talent show 'Strictly Come Dancing' last night (23.11.08).

The model - who received 30 points out of 40 for her jive with dance partner Ian Waite - was chosen to leave the competition by the judges after competing in the dance-off with 'Britain's Next Top Model' presenter Lisa Snowdon.

It's been the most amazing journey, it's been brilliant

After learning she would be leaving the competition, Jodie said: "I've had such a fabulous time. Thank you so much to everyone, thank you Ian. I've made some beautiful friends. It's been the most amazing journey, it's been brilliant. I see Ian as my brother from another mother!"

Meanwhile, former political journalist John Sergeant - who sensationally quit the show last week after admitting he feared his large fan base would cause him to win the competition - danced his last waltz with partner Kristina Rihanoff on Saturday night (22.11.08).

Kristina battled the tears as she took to the dancefloor for the last time with John - cruelly dubbed the 'Dancing Pig' due to his heavy-footed moves - while head judge Len Goodman thanked John for his participation in the programme.

He said: "We're sorry that John decided to leave the competition because he's given us, and the viewers, such entertainment and we'd just like to wish him well in everything he decides to pursue."
