Kerry Katona's nanny says she is "beyond help" and may die if she doesn't leave her husband Mark Croft.

Pat Ferrier - who is also Kerry's stepsister - stopped working for the reality TV star and former Atomic Kitten singer when she recently got back with Mark days after they announced they would divorce.

She said: "Mark is totally destroying her. I look at Kerry and her eyes are dead. She isn't living, she just exists and that's sad to see.

The girls are old enough now to know what's going on. The other day, Lilly-Sue, who is only six, said to me, 'We never see Mummy because she is always asleep in her bedroom.'

"She will sit drinking cheap Lambrini in her room or sleep all day if she is feeling low. This can go on for days."

She added that Kerry's older children - Molly Marie, seven and Lily-Sue, six, by first husband Brian McFadden - are starting to notice their mother's problems.

Pat added to Britain's Heat magazine: "The girls are old enough now to know what's going on. The other day, Lilly-Sue, who is only six, said to me, 'We never see Mummy because she is always asleep in her bedroom.' "

Kerry also has a daughter, Heidi Elizabeth, two, and a son, Maxwell, 14 months, both by Mark.

Pat also made a plea for the public not to judge Kerry,28, until they know about her past.

She added: "Please don't judge Kerry before you know what her childhood was like. She just wants to be loved. She is so insecure because, for all of her early life, she was moved around and taken away from people who she loved."
