Kerry Katona Son's Asthma Scare

Kerry Katona was distraught after her baby son was rushed to hospital.

The reality TV star briefly reconciled with estranged husband Mark Croft -who announced he was filing for divorce last week -at the bedside of Max, 11 months, after he suffered a severe asthma attack.

A source close to 28-year-old Kerry said: "It was very worrying and a very stressful time for her.

"She only split from Mark last Tuesday and has been in a real state.

"So it has been a terrible few days to have had little Max in hospital as well."

The tot was allowed out of hospital on Monday (27.07.09) and is now said to be "getting better".

Kerry -who has four children; Max and Heidi, two, with Mark, and Molly, seven and Lilly Sue, six from her marriage to Brian McFadden -was said to have been "devastated" when she received a divorce letter from Mark's lawyer's last week.

It reportedly said he "cannot reasonably be expected to live with her" and believed the marriage was "totally at an end".

The note followed a row which saw the 'Kerry Katona: What's the problem?' star throw her husband out of their home after she found a message on his phone from a friend he had met while the couple were on holiday.

However, friends believe the split - their third this year - may not be permanent.

The source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Although they have split up, you never know with these two.

"This is the most serious I have ever seen them about divorcing. But Kerry doesn't want to be single and alone with four kids, so that could be Mark's way back into their home."
