Kieron Richardson thinks it's "messed up" that Emma Bunton is a 'Dancing On Ice' judge.

The 'Hollyoaks' actor - who has reached the final four of the reality show - finds it strange his ice-skating routines are scrutinised by the blonde singer every week because he is a huge Spice Girls fan.

Discussing his favorite member of the judging panel, he said: "Emma. It's got to be hasn't it? I was a massive Spice Girls fan. I even went to see them on their last tour and now, a couple of years later, I'm being judged by one of them on 'Dancing On Ice', which is quite messed up!"

Emma is joined on the judging panel by head judge Robin Cousins, Karen Barber, Nicky Slater and Jason Gardiner.

While he adores Emma, Kieron believes it's important for the contestants not to spend too much time with the panel backstage, in case their friendships influence the scoring system.

He added to the official 'Hollyoaks' website: "It's a bit of a funny one. You don't really get to interact with judges that much. If you got close to them they could mark you on a friendship rather than on your performance. We don't really get to speak to the judges really, which is nice, so they do literally judge you on your performance and your performance only."
