Martin Scorsese
Filmmaker Martin Scorsese is reportedly interested in making a documentary about George Harrison based on a recently discovered interview with the late Beatle.
The tape containing the interview was brought forward by Miranda Ward, a journalist, and contains footage of the musical talking openly about politics and drugs.
This is not the first time that Scorsese has produced a documentary movie based on a music icon as earlier this year he did a film that focused on rock legends the Rolling Stones.
The film focused on their two concerts at the Breacon Theatre in New York mixed in with footage and interviews from the early days of their fame.
The director won his first Best Director Oscar in 2006 for The Departed as well as the film scooping Best Picture.
