Dannii Minogue's boyfriend Kris Smith is being lined up to appear on 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!'

Bosses of the ITV1 reality show have reportedly offered the 32-year-old model - who has a one-year-old son Ethan with Dannii - £250,000 to go into the Australian jungle, and it is thought the former rugby ace will snap up the offer so he can become a star in his own right.

An insider said: "People have seen plenty of photos of Kris but few really know him. He's always referred to as Dannii's boyfriend and he thinks doing 'I'm A Celebrity...' would be a good chance to show everyone who he really is.

Meanwhile, TV chiefs are hoping Kris' appearance will boost the profile of the series among female viewers keen to see some "eye candy".

"He would be great eye candy for the viewers, too."

Kris could be joined in the jungle by the likes of US teen star Aaron Carter, twin singing sensation Jedward, 'The Only Way Is Essex' beauty Amy Childs and former 'Big Brother' star Imogen Thomas, all of who have been rumoured to be taking part in the upcoming series of the ITV1 reality show.
