Kylie Minogue is set to be a judge on 'The X Factor'.

The 'Wow' hitmaker is reportedly one of a number of guest stars being lined up to sit on the judging panel during the audition stage of the competition while her sister, regular panellist Dannii Minogue, is on maternity leave.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Dannii will let Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole pick the acts.

Dannii - who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kris Smith in July - confirmed earlier this week that she won't be part of the audition stage of the next series of the talent-search competition, but sources close to the show insist she will return for the semi-finals.

The source added: "Once Dannii has her baby, she will come back to the show for judging the final stages of the contest. And she will be back for the live shows."

A spokesperson for the 38-year-old star confirmed she will still be "a part of the show" despite speculation she won't return after giving birth.

Her representative said: "Dannii has absolutely not quit the show. She will still be a part of 'The X Factor' when it returns later this year."
