LaToya Jackson said appearing on 'Celebrity Big Brother' was "the best experience" of her life.
The star was evicted from the show along with Scottish politician Tommy Sheridan in a double exit last night (21.01.09).
Although she admitted she had enjoyed her time in the house because it had helped her become more confident, LaToya was disappointed not to win.
I definitely hope to stay in touch with Terry Christian, Coolio and Verne
After getting a rapturous reception from the waiting crowd, LaToya - the sister of Michael Jackson - told host Davina McCall: "For me to get out of that shell to speak to people, I did it. I just hate being so shy and I hoped this would help me break out - and it did.
"Everybody wanted to win, I did too, yes of course. I've been in the house a long time.
"It's taught me to be a bit more open with strangers. It teaches you to be more outgoing and have more of a conversation and that's what I did."
In contrast to LaToya's reception, Tommy was greeted by a hostile crowd but ignored their boos and jeers.
In his exit interview, the outspoken politician tipped 'Austin Powers' actor Verne Troyer to win the show tomorrow (23.01.09).He said: "I think the mix in the house was fantastic. There was a great dynamic there and mostly it was just very friendly. I definitely hope to stay in touch with Terry Christian, Coolio and Verne."Verne's my favourite and I hope he wins. He might be a little man but he's got a lot of courage. From my point of view I'd love him to win."
