The top eight 'X Factor' contestants are set to earn £100,000 each on the show's tour.

The tour will see the top eight acts perform 29 dates over six weeks, from February next year.

Singers Lucie Jones, Jamie Archer, Lloyd Daniels, John and Edward Grimes, Stacey Solomon, Danyl Johnson, Olly Murs and Joe McElderry will all perform on the tour.

The tour is the most lucrative part of being on the show.Even if you don't win, it can set you up for life.

It is believed each of the acts could make a significant amount of money from their performances, bonuses and personal appearance fees - which can be between £5,000 and £20,000 a time.

One of last year's finalists, who wanted to remain anonymous, told The Sun newspaper: "The tour is the most lucrative part of being on the show.

"Even if you don't win, it can set you up for life."

Meanwhile, Lloyd Daniels visited his home town in Wales this week where he met a fan who has already spent all her Christmas money voting for him.

A source told The Daily Mirror newspaper: "She rushed out waving phone bill in his face - which is what she's spent on voting for him.

"He was a bit worried when she told him she'd been forced to cancel Christmas because she's got no cash left."
