'Booze Police' Lynda Bellingham

Lynda Bellingham attempts to keep her fellow Loose Women in control when they're drinking.

The 'Strictly Come Dancing' star disapproves of the other ladies consuming so much alcohol on their nights out, and often warns them of its dangers.

Fellow panellist Denise Welch- often photographed looking worse for wear at the end of an evening out - said: "Lynda has a go at us sometimes for getting drunk. But she's got a point, a few years ago I did fall into my soup."

Carol McGiffin added: "She'll tell us off and tut for half an hour. She's become the booze police."

Denise also revealed she would never give up her place on the 'Loose Women' panel, partly because it helps her get tables at upmarket restaurants.

She said: "It's a very coveted job and it's a great privilege. Also, if I'm honest, I like keeping the profile up. It's nice to get a table in a restaurant."
