Myleene Klass is the favourite to take over from Carol Vorderman on 'Countdown'.
The sexy classical pianist - who currently presents TV talent show 'Last Choir Standing' - is frontrunner for Carol's job after the brunette beauty quit the show following bosses' ultimatum she should take a 90 per cent pay cut or leave.
A spokesperson for bookmakers William Hill, who revealed Myleene's chances of getting the job currently stands at odds of 12 to 1, said: "Carol will be a very hard act to follow as a number cruncher but Myleene is attracting the smart money."
Other candidates for the role include Anthea Turner, Ulrika Jonsson, Natasha Kaplinsky and Angela Rippon.

Carol - who has been with the show for 26 years, and has worked with co-hosts including the late Richard Whiteley - made the decision to leave after being told by one of the show's bosses: "'Countdown' easily survived without Richard, it can easily survive without you."
After her manager John Miles released a statement slamming the programme for their treatment of 47-year-old Carol, she said: "I am devastated that my joyous time with one of the best programmes on TV has ended this way.
"I am so upset and I can't believe they have done this to me. It was obvious they wanted me out."
