Myleene Klass' Dannii role?

Myleene Klass has been voted most popular choice to replace Dannii Minogue on 'The X Factor'.

The presenter - who first found fame as part of Hear'Say, the band put together on reality programme 'Popstars' in 2001 - topped the survey carried out by onepoll.com amid speculation that Dannii's future as a judge on the show is in doubt following arguments with Rachel Hylton, one of the contestants she is mentoring, and rumours of a feud with fellow judge Cheryl Cole.

A poll spokesperson said: "Myleene would be a great choice."

Dannii's singer sister Kylie Minogue was placed behind Myleene - who was announced this week as the new host of Channel 4 make-over show '10 Years Younger'.

Other contenders for the position included former Spice Girls star Emma Bunton, who appeared on 'The X Factor' earlier this year and assisted Dannii in selecting the finalists from her over-25s category at the 'Judge's houses' stage of the competition.

However, despite recent speculation that she is set to be replaced on the next series of the programme, Dannii - who joined the show last year and famously didn't get on with fellow judge Sharon Osbourne - insists her position on the panel is safe.

She said: "I don't pay attention to what everyone says. I am oblivious to the taunts. I just go to work and do my job and that's all I'm focused on. I want to do it next year and I will be. As far as everyone involved is, that is the plan and Simon has said so."
