Nancy Dell'Olio has been voted off 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 50-year-old Italian and her professional partner Anton Du Beke had again found themselves bottom of the leaderboard on Saturday night's (29.10.11) Halloween-themed show, scoring just 14 points for their gaff-tastic rumba.
I tell you what I'm going to miss the most. I'm just going to miss Nancy. I'm going to miss you. You are a superstar. You are absolutely lovely. I have had the most lovely time.
However, unlike in previous weeks, the public vote failed to save them and judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Alesha Dixon opted to keep Audley Harrison and Natalie Lowe in the competition when asked to choose between the two couples.
Despite being criticised for her performances, Nancy insisted she has enjoyed the experience and vowed to continue dancing.
She said: "I will miss many moments, of course. It has been such a full on experience. I am going to go back to the rest of my life, but of course I'm going to miss a lot of it. I've had a lot of fun, it's been an incredible experience.
"It has given to me quite a lot, meeting incredible people, and learning dancing ... partly! I am definitely going to keep dancing, because it is fantastic exercise, not only physically but for the mind, for everything, so I definitely will."
Anton admitted he was upset the pair were leaving the competition because he would miss working with Nancy, describing their time together as "lovely".
He said: "I tell you what I'm going to miss the most. I'm just going to miss Nancy. I'm going to miss you. You are a superstar. You are absolutely lovely. I have had the most lovely time."
The remaining contestants will return to the stage next Saturday (05.11.11).
