Peaches Geldof fell asleep during a TV interview.

The 20-year-old star was being quizzed by TV presenter Fearne Cotton for new celebrity profile show 'Fearne and..." when she dropped off, much to the presenter's amazement.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "They say there's no rest for the wicked - but that obviously doesn't apply to Peaches. Poor old Fearne was asking her a few questions then noticed she had stopped answering. She looked over and noticed that Peaches was fast asleep.

"It was a bit embarrassing for Fearne who immediately thought her questions had bored her so much she had to get some shut-eye. But it was just Peaches' wild partying catching up with her."

Fearne had travelled to New York to interview Peaches, and was chatting to her in a taxi when she nodded off.

The 27-year-old TV presenter has previously taken to her Twitter blog to blast a celebrity - believed to be Peaches - for holding up the shooting of the ITV2 show.

Last month, Fearne wrote: "(M)y shoot has now been delayed by an hour as the person im filming with is still in bed! So glad I got up at 630am for no reason! (Sic)."

Singer Alesha Dixon and hotel heiress Paris Hilton are also set to appear on the programme. Scarlett Johansson was also rumoured to be starring, although she has denied she will take part.
