Pixie Lott shuns TOWIE haunts

Pixie Lott is avoiding The Only Way Is Essex's Sugar Hut nightclub, as she thinks owners Mick and Kirk Norcross have ''changed'' since they shot to fame on the ITV2 show.

Pixie Lott is avoiding The Only Way Is Essex's Sugar Hut nightclub.

The 'All About Tonight' hitmaker - who hails from the eastern county - is snubbing the hotspot as she thinks owners Mick and Kirk Norcross have "changed" since they shot to fame on the ITV2 show.

She said: "My family live in Brentwood so I know all the Essex haunts. The last time I went down to Sugar Hut they didn't treat us very nicely so I'm never going back there again. They've changed since they've had that TV show."

However, the 20-year-old singer admitted TOWIE's Sam Faiers is "lovely" and Joey Essex - who is a friend of her brother - is the "real star" of the show.

She added to the Daily Star newspaper: "I've met Sam Faiers. She still seems like a lovely girl. And my family are good friends with Joey Essex. He's the real star."

Pixie's 21-year-old brother Stephen was recently asked by 'TOWIE' bosses to appear in the show himself.

She said: "He is best mates with Joey Essex's best mate, if that makes sense. They have been trying to get him on the show for a while.

"I don't know if my brother will do it. He is living with me in my spare room at the moment so I'm not sure it will be a good move for him."
