Ray Quinn wants to be the next James Bond.

The 'Dancing On Ice' champion has revealed he would love to play the womanising spy when he gets a bit older.

A 'Dancing On Ice'/Bond special could be really cheesy and fun - maybe that would work.

He said: "My ultimate dream is to be James Bond - maybe when Daniel Craig throws the towel in. He has done it so maybe I can too! I'd definitely give it a few years though. Bond needs to be more mature looking than me. I'll get a few more wrinkles and then who knows."

The 20-year-old also joked about a possible spin-off between the ITV ice-skating show and the British spy film franchise.

He quipped: "A 'Dancing On Ice'/Bond special could be really cheesy and fun - maybe that would work."

Ray - who found fame on reality talent show 'The X Factor' in 2006, where he came second to British singing sensation Leona Lewis - admits he would love to follow in her footsteps and make it big in the US.

He explained to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "I'd love to live in Los Angeles or America like Leona and make a life for myself over there."

However, the singer-and-actor is not ready for a move Stateside at the moment- he is considering proposing to girlfriend Emma Stephans.

He added: "I am very much in love at the moment. Emma is absolutely gorgeous. It's early days to think about wedding bells but I wouldn't rule them out just yet, I'm really happy. I don't know about kids just yet, I'm still a child myself - I'm too selfish for kids at the minute, I'm way too busy with myself."
