Richard Fleeshman would consider shaving his head for an acting role.

The former 'Coronation Street' star - who is famous for his curly hair - says he would have no qualms getting rid of his locks if an acting part required it.

He said: "I'd certainly think about shaving it off for a role. It's a lot easier to be free and uninhibited when you're playing someone else."

However, the 19-year-old actor said he wouldn't shave his head out of choice.

"My hair has been the bane of my life because I have an afro!! There's very little I can do with it."
