Robbie Williams will make his long-awaited comeback on 'Comic Relief'.

The reclusive 'Angels' singer has agreed to take part in a sketch for 'Little Britain USA' alongside friends Matt Lucas and David Walliams for the BBC fundraising event.

Robbie, 35, previously played a cross-dressing friend of 'Little Britain' transvestites Emily and Florence in a 2005 sketch for the charity, and is believed to be taking on the X-rated part of a 'Gym Bunny' in the new skit.

He jumped at the chance to help out.

A source said: "He jumped at the chance to help out."

The sketch will air on Red Nose Day, next Friday (13.03.09) as part of the BBC's 'Comic Relief' coverage.

Other stars who will feature in the star-studded fundraiser including Denise Van Outen and stand-up comic Michael McIntyre, who have been confirmed as judges for the final of 'Let's Dance For Comic Relief', which will air the day after the main event.

This Saturday (07.03.09) marks the final heat and will see former Madness singer Suggs team up with DJ Zoe Ball to compete against 'This Morning' host Fern Britton and newsreader Angela Rippon, comic Dom Joly, 'The Bill' stars Lisa Maxwell and Patrick Robinson and athletes Martin Offiah and Denise Lewis for a place in the final.

The winning two acts will join Jo Brand, Robert Webb, Dick and Dom and Keith Lemon and Paddy McGuinness in the final on Saturday, March 14.
