'Britain's Got Talent' finalist Shaheen Jafargholi was due to perform 'Heal the World' with Michel Jackson.

The Welsh schoolboy - who made it to the final of the TV talent show this year singing his version of Michael's early hit 'Who's Lovin' You' - was scheduled to take the stage with his hero during his 50-date 'This Is It' residency at London's O2 arena.

Following the star's death of a suspected cardiac arrest in June he was instead drafted in to perform at Michael's memorial service in Los Angeles.

We were told he wanted me to be on his tour. He wanted me to sing 'Heal the World' with him, and he was going to pass the torch to me, like moving on to the next generation.

Shaheen said: "We were told he wanted me to be on his tour. He wanted me to sing 'Heal the World' with him, and he was going to pass the torch to me, like moving on to the next generation."

The young singer also described his experience at the glitzy tribute concert, and said he was starstruck by some of the high profile celebrities he met.

He added to Britain's Heat magazine: "Stevie Wonder was so nice to me. I really, really, really like him a lot.

"I found it really weird when Jennifer Hudson asked me for a photo rather than the other way round. It was amazing - it made my day."
