Sinitta wants her 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!' experience to be like the movie 'Eat, Pray, Love'.

The 80s pop icon - who entered the jungle alongside DJ Pat Sharp last weekend - is hoping her time on the ITV1 reality show will be a journey of self-discovery in a similar way to the Julia Roberts film, and she is also keen to find romance.

She said: "If I fall in love with someone in the jungle, then it'll definitely be with a man worth considering. I'm a single mum and it's going to be nice to be with adults 24/7.

"I hope my experience is like the movie 'Eat, Pray, Love'."

The 45-year-old star - who previously dated 'X Factor' mogul Simon Cowell and Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt - is also keen for the experience to help her overcome her many fears.

Speaking prior to entering the jungle, she told Now magazine: "I want to overcome my fears. I've had a really difficult year. I had a tumour removed in February and then I broke my ankle and spent four months in bed.

"Then I had an allergic reaction and it made me fearful. I used to be so proud of being healthy, but I've lost a lot of courage."
