Rapper Snoop Dogg admits he is desperate for bosses in 'Coronation Street' to let him have a cameo role in the soap.

Snoop Dogg has begged 'Coronation Street' bosses to let him appear in the show.

The legendary rapper - who is a huge fan of the ITV1 soap and has watched it for 11 years - has revealed his agent has already approached bosses on the show, because he is convinced he could "fall into" life on the Street perfectly.

I love the whole dynamic, the way it is put together, it is my world, it is something I could fall into.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I had my agent reach out to them to see if they could try to get me on and they said they were interested so hopefully it might happen. It would be perfect for me to be on the show. I've got friends around the world who always put me up on things and turn me on to things. Eleven years ago one of my friends turned me on to it.

"I love the whole dynamic, the way it is put together, it is my world, it is something I could fall into."

However, the 'What's My Name' hitmaker wouldn't want to appear on the show alone, and is asking producers if David Beckham could be with him in scenes in the butchers.

He added to The Sun newspaper: "My people have reached out to the producers and we are going to do it. They should definitely put some Snoop Dogg in there. The butcher's will be the cool spot.

"I'd have my man David Beckham in there working with me. He's my guy."
