'Strictly Come Dancing' stars taught British troops how to jive when they visited their barracks yesterday (04.11.09).
Professional dancer Kristina Rihanoff, actresses Ali Bastian, Laila Rouass and Natalie Cassidy and Olympian Jade Johnson all made the trip to Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire, to help the 4th Mechanized Brigade prepare for their own version of the show, dubbed 'Soldier Come Dancing'.
Captain Carl Tomkinson thanked the 'Strictly' team and said: It's been a great day but I'm not sure my dancing has improved!
Ali said to The Sun newspaper: "My grandfather was in the Army so it means a lot to me to meet soldiers fighting on the front line. They were on amazing form and if anything it was them who lifted our spirits. We jived the morning away at the barracks and I loved it."
