Stacey Solomon To 'fly'

Stacey Solomon wants to "fly" on this week's 'X Factor'.

The bubbly Essex songstress said she will defy expectations on tomorrow night's (07.11.09) show with an energetic routine she has been working on throughout the week.

Single mum Stacey, 19, is keen to liven up her performances after being criticised by judge Simon Cowell in previous weeks for remaining static onstage.

Last week I got to walk on stage and maybe this week I will get to fly. I'll be like, 'Take that Simon!'

Last week he praised her for walking across the stage during her performance of Keane's 'Somewhere Only We Know'.

Stacey said: "Last week I got to walk on stage and maybe this week I will get to fly. I'll be like, 'Take that Simon!' "

The show's creative director, Brain Friedman, has also revealed he is working on a dance with the singer for her performance of soul classic 'Son Of Preacher Man' on tomorrow's (07.11.09) movie themes show.

He said: "We haven't seen the best of Stacey, I think she's going to start blossoming in the weeks to come.

"She's going have a little bit more movement this week, so look out for her."

Meanwhile, rumoured song choices for a number of the other acts on tomorrow's show have been revealed.

Olly Murs will reportedly sing The Beatles' 'Twist and Shout'; Jamie Archer is said to be taking on 'Unchained Melody' while John and Edward will tackle the 'Theme From Ghostbusters'. Joe McElderry will tackle Elton John's 'Circle Of Life' while Danyl Johnson is expected to perform Prince's 'Purple Rain'.
