Teddy Sheringham is to star on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The retired England footballer has agreed to strut his stuff on the new series of the BBC TV ballroom dancing show, which starts on September 13.
A BBC source said: "We always like to have sports people on the show. Teddy is a very welcome addition."
Teddy, 42, follows in the footsteps of a number of several sports stars, including cricketers Darren Gough and Mark Ramprakash, rugby players Matt Dawson and Martin Offiah and athlete Colin Jackson, who have all appeared on the programme.

Other rumoured contestants include Jordan - real name Katie Price - and her husband Peter Andre, M People singer Heather Small and former 'EastEnders' actress Emma Barton.
