'Strictly Come Dancing' bosses are having to deal with a number of spats between the show's stars.
Lulu and her professional partner Brendan Cole - who departed the BBC One series during week six - are said to have fallen out after the 'Shout' hitmaker took offence at comments the dancer made after they were booted out of the competition, with their relationship now described as "extremely tense".
I must admit I'm a big fan of fake tan. It doesn't smell nice but when you've got it on with your costume it puts you in the mood and gets you prepared. I've really embraced that.
Meanwhile, 'Daybreak' presenter Dan Lobb and his partner Katya Virshilas are thought to have a "frosty" friendship, making bringing all the stars together for tomorrow night's (17.12.11) 'Strictly Come Dancing' final a difficult job for series producers.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "When Lulu heard what Brendan said about her she was livid. She has been very sensitive about her time on the show and needed more support than he was prepared to give her. He is a very hard taskmaster and this didn't often sit well with Lulu.
"As for Katya, she thought Dan didn't care. But Dan has been telling people he thought she was getting all of the attention when it should have been about them as a couple.
"All these difficulties make bringing together such a huge show like the 'Strictly' final tougher than it should be. But all the celebrities and dancers are professional people and bosses are hoping that nothing will spill over into the show."
Elsewhere, Harry Judd - who is joined in the final by Chelsee Healey and Jason Donovan - credited his success in the competition to fake tan.
He said: "I must admit I'm a big fan of fake tan. It doesn't smell nice but when you've got it on with your costume it puts you in the mood and gets you prepared. I've really embraced that."
