Susan Boyle has taken up boxing.

The 'Britain's Got Talent' was taken to the boxing gym in her hometown of Blackburn, Scotland, where she found the brutal contact sport helped her relax.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Susan has been pretty stressed out by the whole worldwide fame thing and needed to get her head straight.

"Friends took her to a boxing gym and loved it. She put on the gloves and the boots and did some working out on a punch bag.

This just made my night.In response, his wife Demi Moore wrote: You saw it made me teary!

"She is a boxing fan, but had never tried it before.

"One of her favourite songs is 'Eye Of The Tiger' from the 'Rocky' movies."

Susan is under immense pressure ahead of the release of her debut album next month.

The formerly reclusive 48-year-old spinster shot to fame after her audition for the TV talent show became a worldwide hit on video sharing website YouTube.

She sang a perfect rendition of 'I Dreamed A Dream' from musical Les Miserables in the clip.

Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher posted a link to the rendition of Twitter, and wrote: "This just made my night."

In response, his wife Demi Moore wrote: "You saw it made me teary!"

Although Susan eventually finished runner up on 'Britain's Got Talent', her debut album, 'I Dreamed A Dream' is expected to reach number one across the world.
