Trisha Goddard has blasted 'Loose Women' for only having white presenters.

The outspoken TV host blamed "posh" producers for adopting a culture of "driven snow" and failing to use panellists from different ethnic backgrounds.

She said: "Driven snow means it is very white, middle-class.

If your staff come from a predominantly under-privileged area and socio-economic group, you are going to reflect that

"There are a lot of people who are from non-Anglo backgrounds who would be fantastic on that show.

"It would be nice to have more of a representative mixture because we are a hotch-potch society."

When quizzed on who she would like to see joined the presenting team of the popular ITV1 daytime show, Trisha said former 'Coronation Street' star-turned-radio presenter Shobna Gulati would be an ideal new host.

The 51-year-old presenter - whose most recent self-titled show was axed by Channel Five - is now set to move into radio presenting.

Why tinker with something that obviously works, the shows won't be on short list for awards if the public did not enjoy the show. If you don't like it don't watch it. Start your own!!
