Verne Troyer caused controversy on 'Celebrity Big Brother' after French kissing a doll.

The 40-year-old actor gave the toy a passionate kiss in a scene from a movie the contestants made about their time in the house, pretending the doll was former Sugababes singer Mutya Buena, who quit the show last week.

One told The Sun newspaper: "It's sick. Men of Verne's age should not be snogging babies on TV - real or not real. The producers should have said something to Verne but it was not taken seriously at all."

A Channel 4 spokesperson insisted the scene was harmless.
