'EastEnders' Whitney Dean is set to fall in love with her step-uncle.

The teenage market stall worker, played by Shona McGarty, is about to get involved with a new man - her step-mother Bianca's half-brother Billie Jackson - and the prospective romance promises to be eventful.

Actor Devon Anderson - who previously appeared on the BBC One show as a child - has revealed: "There's an instant attraction between Billie and Whitney - I think it could even be love."

However, the only obstacle the new couple face is Billie's womanising ways.

He explained: "That's not to say he doesn't have a massive eye for the ladies because he'll pretty much go for anything that walks! But I think they've got the potential to be a dynamite couple.

"They could be rock solid if Billie doesn't mess it up - maybe even the new Kat and Alfie."

Devon return to the soap this week, 12 years since he last portrayed Billy.
