Whitney Houston was reportedly annoyed Simon Cowell gave an 'X Factor' singer one of her new songs to perform.

The 46-year-old singer was saving power ballad 'I Didn't Know My Own Strength' for her upcoming tour, but Simon got bisexual teacher Danyl Johnson to sing it on Saturday's episode of the TV talent show (17.10.09).

Although Whitney - who made a triumphant return to the UK stage on Sunday's show (18.10.09) - was initially irritated, Simon talked her round with a basket of treats from upmarket perfume and toiletries brand Jo Malone.
