'X Factor' reject Scott Bruton has vowed to become a successful singer, despite being booted off the show on Saturday night (25.10.08).
The 19-year-old was voted off by judges Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue, only his mentor Simon Cowell opted to save him, after being placed in the bottom two with Daniel Evans, 38.
I'm going to sit down and write some songs and get a demo out there. This isn't the end for me, it's the start of something great.
Former holiday camp entertainer Scott - who performed a version of 'That's Life' - is determined not to let his failure stop him from fulfilling his dream of becoming a pop star.
He said: "I'm going to sit down and write some songs and get a demo out there. This isn't the end for me, it's the start of something great."
Daniel hasn't only set his sights on a music career, he also wants to try his luck on London's West End and on TV.
He added: "I'd really like to make a go of it on the West End, because I'd get to do singing, dancing and acting - it would be fantastic. I think I'd make a good TV presenter as well because I can speak to anyone."
Alexandra Burke stole the show on the night, which had a big band theme, with a fantastic rendition of Christina Aguilera's 'Candyman', complete with hunky sailor backing dancers.
