This week saw both The Flash and Arrow meet their mid-season finales in America, and with it came the answers to some questions that viewers have had since each came to the screen earlier this year.

The Flash's episode was aptly titled 'The Man In The Yellow Suit', and writers decided it was time those at home discovered just who was hiding behind the Reverse Flash's outfit.

It was revealed that the wheelchair bound (but not-actually-paralysed) Harrison Wells is the man in yellow, setting up his own history so that he can take down the Flash - but who's going to get hurt in the run-up to that? We'll find out more in January.

Over on Arrow, we discovered that it was Thea Queen who took Sara's life after Malcolm used a rare plant to make her susceptible to taking directions from him and delivering on his orders.

In an episode called 'The Climb', Ollie decided he would protect his sister, confess to murdering Sara and demand a trial by combat with Ra's Al Ghul, with Malcolm hoping the Arrow could take him out and allow him and Thea to become safe.

It didn't turn out like that. In a hugely one-sided battle in which Ra's didn't even start off with his own weapons, things quickly turned on Oliver and as he stood on the edge of the mountain he'd just climbed, Ra's stabbed him through the chest and kicked him off, seemingly putting an end to his life.

And that was that. Arrow have killed off Oliver Queen - their titular character - halfway through the third season. Or have they? Do a quick google search and Wikipedia read on 'Lazarus Pit' if you'd like to see just what might happen when Arrow returns next year.
