What should we expect from the second season of WAGS Miami?

This season I think is a lot different from season one, in the fact that you see a lot of girls from all the cast. Me especially, you will see that I’m not the one that’s into the drama with the girls this season, because I have a lot going on with my wedding. You will also get to see all the real-life situations with Stanley; I don’t know if you guys have seen episode one already but my fiancé – actually my husband now – he’s going to be a big part of my storylines this year. It’s very much so for me a lot more about family and a lot more serious this year, whereas last season I feel like was more petty drama with the girls. But don’t get me wrong, there is still a lot of petty drama with the other girls!

This season sees Kayla Cox and Faven Liuget join the cast – what do you make of the two new additions?

I already knew that Faven was really going to just jump in there with us girls and mesh pretty well; I could just tell off the bat because she’s funny, we are kind of like-minded in that sense, so I knew that was fine. I wasn’t sure about Kayla but she really surprised me. I mean, she is a people pleaser, but I just love her to death and she’s just really great. She’s a lot of fun but I think she was just a little naïve in the beginning and I was just trying to coach her on how things are with the girls. There are little things like being loyal and not running around and telling everybody’s business, and stuff like that, but she learned. She definitely learned her lesson this season and I think that made the show even better because it gave everybody the chance to see what it is to be a new girl in a new group.

We know there can always be drama in reality TV, so what should we expect from that side of things?

This season you can see drama with me and my family, and also with the other girls. You will see us getting catty over the guys this season. I mean, the single girls are ready and are looking for a guy, so this season is a cat fight, that’s for sure!

Have any dynamics hugely shifted this season?

Yeah we have new girls coming in; I would say you will see Darnell hanging out with the single girls more this season; and I’m away busy planning my wedding. So maybe you’ll see a little difference there, but other than that I feel like Astrid is letting Claudia go a little bit. She is hanging out with the other girls on her own without Claudia.

We’ll see you trying to get along with your mother-in-law this season; what are some of the biggest challenges that come with this?

You will see me really trying my best to mend things with her, and you will really see me trying to make it work with her. She does throw her digs here and there and I just try and brush it off, so all I can say is I tried my best with that. I don’t want to give too much away, but you will definitely have to stay tuned and see how that ends up. I think it is definitely something that the viewers can relate to. It was just very tricky having to deal with her and doing it all on camera; it was just a crazy time for me.

Now in your second season, has filming become second nature to you?

Yeah definitely! In season one I was stressing about every little thing, from what I was wearing, to my hair, to my makeup, to where we were filming at, and this season I just threw on whatever and I was ready to go; I didn’t stress too much. I don’t think I could really stress too much about filming because I was already stressing about my wedding, so it was more like, ‘let’s go, let’s get filming, let’s get this over with!’

What would you say are some of the biggest challenges, being a part of a reality TV franchise?

I think the biggest challenge is just that every single little thing that you say or do is analysed over and over and over, having to watch it over and over and over. If you are not strong-minded, you can just fall to everyone’s opinions of you and what they feel at the moment; a lot of people are really mean out there. I wouldn’t say it’s a negative thing, but it is a challenge that you have to deal with; you just have to be strong.

Finally, what should we expect from you in the coming months away from the show?

So in the next few months I am going to continue to grow my hair care brand, which is actually going really well – I really can’t keep it in stock. People actually want the whole system, because it is a whole system so I have the shampoo, conditioner, basically everything you would need from start to finish in terms of hair care. It’s really simple and easy to use for everyone; I just wanted something that everybody could use, because I know there are so many products on the market right now. I wanted to have a produce that is easy and simple to use but is also luxurious and I’m so happy that people like it. We are going to be in all the big beauty shows like Beauty-Con.

I am also looking to get into doing more charity work with there being hurricanes here, and we have a lot of natural disasters going on right now, I just really want to get connected in the community. So yeah, that’s what I have going on right now!
