As Big Brother Canada continues, the players remaining in the game couldn’t care less about who we at home would like to see stay in the house, as fan-favourite after fan-favourite is sent packing!

Gary Levy and Arisa Cox

Gary Levy and Arisa Cox

With one of the most game-aware casts in BBCAN history, this season is shaping up to be one of the best. Unfortunately, it’s now one that will continue without Gary Levy, who was sent out from the house in ‘Backwards Week’, where the Head of Household Demetres got to cast the sole vote to evict.

What does Gary think of his time in the house, and who would he like to see win it all? Find out what he had to say when we caught up with him following his eviction…

Now you’ve had a little time to reflect on your time in the house, how do you feel about your whole experience?

I think this experience was amazing. I loved that I was able to play with returnees and newbies; I loved the dynamic of the two sides and different perspectives of the game. I live in the moment and I do everything in the moment, I lived in the present moment and didn’t think about home, and I didn’t think about the future; I really lived in the now. So I have no regrets and I really feel like I grow a lot when I do this show. I grew so much the first time around and this time I feel like I’ve grown so much again. I’m really thankful to Big Brother for putting me on again, I had a great time, I had no regrets, it was a fun experience and I think I made some new friends.

How does it feel to go out in a week where everything was twisted backwards?

It was really weird to leave in this vein, but it’s Big Brother Canada, anything can happen and, I was shocked really being evicted by one person, but again, it’s Big Brother, anything could happen. Working backwards did work in my favour with the slop cookies, because I could have been a have-not and been evicted and been miserable, so I can’t be too sad!

How differently do you think you’d have played the game if you were the one given the pass to Jury?

I don’t think I would have let my ego get to my head; I would have been more integrated with people and in the trenches with people. I don’t think I’d have separated myself at all or looked down on anyone; I definitely feel like I would have been more integrated and made it seem like it wasn’t that big of a deal, and maybe downplayed it as much as I could.

Who would you like to see evicted next and why?

Oh that’s a mean question! Um… Who do I wanna be evicted next week? Demetres! (laughs)

Make an early prediction – who do you think is gonna make it to final three?

Final three, I see William, I see Kevin and I see Karen, maybe, please? I really do think William has the potential to win this game though.

And who would you LIKE to see make it to final three?

It would be Karen, Ika and William.

Are there any of those you think are a long shot?

I think Karen is too much of a shady girl to make it that far! Karen will tell you like it is and I don’t think people like to be told what it is in that house, so I don’t think Karen will last that long, to make it to the end, but you never know, it’s Big Brother!

Who do you think is playing the best game this season?

I think William’s playing the best game this season. People underestimate social game and it has a lot to do with the dynamic of what goes on in that house. To be able to coexist with someone and not see them as a target and just see them as a human being and a person is huge, and William has that down pat.

Finally, what were some of your highlights from your time in the house?

I think getting to meet so many new people and getting to know better some of the vets that came back was huge for me. Also, getting the alien costume was amazing, and hosting an HoH competition was cool because I had never done that before. Getting the costume and the whole shebang, that was really fun. Just having this experience; it’s another memory I get to have with me and carry through life, and I’m just very thankful to Big Brother for giving me this opportunity. I definitely soaked it up and used every ounce of it, and I had fun.

Big Brother Canada continues Wednesdays at 9pm ET/PT, Thursdays at 8pm ET/PT and Mondays at 9pm ET/PT on Global.
