With just a week to go until I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! makes its way back to the small screen on ITV, we’ve decided to take a look at some of the rumours surrounding who will be going into the jungle, picking out five of our favourites that we hope to see doing some Bushtucker Trials in this year’s celebrity-filled competition. Ant and Dec will of course be hosting the show, with the former now successfully out of rehab and looking to be on the up following an addiction to pain killers and a nasty leg injury.

1. Gemma Collins

Though we weren’t the biggest fans of Gemma Collins during her first run in I’m A Celebrity, we think the TOWIE cast member could easily smash the jungle if she made a return with a better frame of mind. She hinted at being contacted by those working on the show during an appearance on Loose Women earlier this year, and if she does indeed get her required fee and go back into the competition she would be the second only contestant to do the series twice, following Katie Price’s two turns at winning the jungle crown. Following her memes earlier this year which went global, we wouldn’t be surprised if she completely turned former public opinion around and made the IAC finale.

2. Charlotte Crosby

Geordie contestants have a good time on IAC, with both Scarlett Moffatt and Vicky Pattison winning their respective series, so it seemed only a matter of time until Charlotte Crosby would be wandering into the jungle to prove herself. In the past, she told us in an interview that she had been banned from the show because of how she came from MTV series Geordie Shore, but it seems after Pattison’s win, that this rule had been lifted. Having already won Channel 5’s Celebrity Big Brother, it’s clear that Charlotte is able to bring in the votes – but would the IAC viewing public hand her another win in the jungle? That remains to be seen…

3. Craig Charles

Craig is another contestant that should make his return to the IAC camp, after quitting his original series because of the tragic passing of his brother back in 2014. Out of all those who have competed in the past, Craig is somebody who deserves another shot at taking home the jungle crown. Speaking to RadioTimes.com recently, he said: “I’ve just been asked if I’ll go back in the jungle again. Because that was cut short… And never say never, you know?” Whether this year will be his year however, remains to be seen.

4. Ben Cohen

Ben’s somebody who’s always in the media for a variety of different reasons. Whether he’s garnering negative or positive headlines, he’s somebody who’s managed to put his stardom to good use in the past, working closely with charity and ensuring that he does a lot of good. Popular with viewers already following his time on Strictly Come Dancing, he went on to find love with his partner on the show Kristina Rihanoff. It’d be very interesting to see where viewers would fall if he did make it into the jungle.

5. Jamie Lomas

Recently leaving his role as Warren Fox in Hollyoaks, now marks the perfect time for actor Jamie Lomas to make his jungle debut. We imagine he’d be an instant favourite with viewers thanks to his good looks and on-screen bad boy reputation, but hopefully there’s a softer side he’s yet to show, for viewers to explore when he inevitably goes into the jungle next Sunday. He has after all already been spotted in an Australian airport…

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!  begins next Sunday, November 19 on ITV.
