Alesha Dixon's Foot Op

Alesha Dixon is to have an operation on her foot.

The 'Strictly Come Dancing' judge has been hiding a mystery injury but refused to have it operated on while she was participating in the BBC show, as she will have to wear a cast for up to a month.

A source said: "She's done loads of glamorous photo shoots recently, so obviously she couldn't have done them with a massive plaster on her foot.

"So after Christmas she is going to hospital to get it fixed and has taken the whole of January off to put her feet up - literally."

Alesha - who won 'Strictly Come Dancing' in 2007 - replaced Arlene Phillips on the judging panel of the show, causing much controversy.

However, she will not join fellow judges Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli on the show's tour and her role will be taken be Arlene.

She was asked to join the other judges, to make it a five-judge panel but Alesha turned the opportunity down.

The 'Strictly Come Dancing' live tour starts on January 15.
